The 4th episode of “The Making Of The Team” wraps up our 2019 cycling season. I explain how we were able to end off the first season as a team and what’s in store for next year. The past 3 episodes have shown just how I have no idea how to run an amateur cycling team.
I delayed putting this video up because I just wasnt ready to show aspects of this video. I was pretty embarrassed about it all and shyed away from facing the reality. If you know me though, I’m not one to hide failures, so even though this is late, it’s still going up.
I have a video in the works all about what I learned and I think that will be a great way to close this chapter and move on to the next one.
And look, cycling at this level is a hobby, so why take it so serious? Why invest so much time and money and basically self inflict drama into a sport you love? Well I don’t really have an answer, but I think it comes down to a personality type of a bunch of dudes who want to push all aspects of their life to the fullest.
I was on the hook big time if this failed, so I was very in edge about this whole project. Maybe that’s why things unraveled as much as they did. 2020 is gonna be different, its gonna fun, its gonna be a lot less serious. I hope you stick around for season 2, its gonna be a banger.
